2/12/02: The crank shaft has been reassembled with new bearings

Right:  The oil pump and layshaft is installed in the RH crankcase

Left:  The LH crankcase ready for assembly

The crankshaft is dropped into the RH case, taking care to hold the rods for the LH cylinders upright.  Locktite 744 seaking compiund is carefullapplied to the flange on the LH case. The LH camchain is held up with a home-made wooden brace and the LH case is then dropped onto the RH side and the through bolts and flange bolts torqued up.
