Motor rebuild 3

8/Dec/02:  Once the cases have been torqued up the new rings are fitted to the pistons which are then inserted into the barrels.  The assembly is then slid onto the head studs and the gudgeon (wrist) pin insterted into the small end.  I found this method better than assembling the piston onto the conrod, then trying to slide the barrel over the piston.

9/Dec/02 All 6 barrels are now fitted.
Shown left is one of the 92mm 10.8:1 Mahle pistons
Below:  The heads are now being fitted
