The front suspension was removed as a complete assembly
The wishbones, crossmember and undershield were so corroded that s/h parts were sourced
from Jim Avis, then blasted and powder coated. The rubber bushes will be replaced with Weltmeister urethane bushes.
The front struts will have new Bilstein inserts and new wheel bearings
fitted. The track rod arms are to be upgraded to Turbo parts
I have now sourced a full set of coil-over suspension, and a set
of 917 calipers to upgrade the brake system with Turbo 3.3 discs and hubs
